Emerald Pendant

Hi All,

I have had this pendant for many years now, one of my first gemstone projects and a life lesson on how a jeweler can crack a stone, Inspect before you leave the store.

Gorgeous! Love the green. Is there a crack in the stone?

Beautiful satiny green against the warm yellow. Where is the crack? I'm not seeing it. The picture is blurry so I only see some jardin within.

It's a lovely green and the setting is beautiful! Is the crack you're talking about right above the bottom left prong?

Yes the crack is bottom left above the prong, sorry the pics are bad never had much luck taking photos of emeralds.

The one that runs across diagonally? Sorry about that. Is it an internal crack or is the prong holding that piece onto the rest of it?

The prong is the only thing holding that piece in, it is still a nice piece just that there just not much value in the emerald now. I have thought about someday replacing the emerald with a Tsavorite.
