Emerald cut diamond and setting!

A few weeks ago, my SO and I ordered a diamond for my engagement ring from JA. When it came, it was perfect! Now the hunt became finding the perfect, temporary setting for it! I didn't want to spend a ton on a setting which I most likely would be changing in the future, 3 or 4 years down the line. With a great suggestion from vintagelover, I bought one of the settings she suggested from Dover Jewelry! The ring is being sized right now by them but I should have the setting in hand next week! Here is a few teaser pics! I want to take some nicer ones but haven't had time! right now the diamond is sitting in a temporary tension setting

Oh that is a very pretty setting for an emerald cut. I can't wait to see how the proportions look! And I also love DJ. I have bought a few things from them and been pretty happy with the overall experience.

How long till you get it back? next week?? Can you not sit on their doorstep and perch over their shoulders all day everyday, just to speed them along???

If only that kind of thing worked, eh?

Once it's here, it will be yours forever, so the wait will be over soon enough. I'm excited to see the handshots!
