Emerald cut - can someone show me diff between one with and without windmills

Hi guys.

I love an emerald cut stone but can’t seem to see the difference between a stone with and one without windmills.

Can anyone describe the difference and show me a photo side by side of with and without please?

What are people’s preferences

Windmills are formed by the clipped corners of an emerald cut. They are preferred.
In fact without them its not an emerald cut.
They do vary in size.

Rectangular Step Cut
Baguette has fewer facets, 2 crown and 2 pavilion tiers vs 3 and 3(or more).
