Side question: #3 is longer, wider and deeper than #1, yet it is lighter! How can that be? Different densities??? What does this say (good or bad) about the cut/angles/crown heights/etc.?

need pictures of 2 and 3 cant tell nothing without them.
assuming the crown height is ok 1 is one I would consider.

I like the first one as well, pics of the others are needed though to really say anything about them.

Thanks.

How do I get pics from BN and WF?

What are the reasons for picking #1? I know that #1 is a better diamond, but for about $1,300 less, isn''t #2 close enough? (Yeah ... I know that ''value'' is a personal thing ... but diamonds, to some extent (large extent?), are a commodity, no?).

Any comments on my side question at the end of the original post?

bn is sometimes impossible to get pictures out of but other vendors can often call in the stone.
WF will call them in for a fee, the one you buy the call in fee is part of the purchase price but would have too pay on the ones you didnt buy.
JA will do the same.
So if your interested in 2 and 3 have WF or JA call them in for pictures and eval.

The weight difference is simple... angles, one has more weight in the pavilion most likely

Since one is at JA might be a good idea just too have them call the other 2 in for a comparison, pictures and a scan too get crown height. They are both virtual stones so they should be able too do that.
