New to this but I am getting an emerald cut engagement ring to propose on 12/22/02. I hope I did not get rooked but have purchased a GIA cert emerald cut 1.23 L/W ratio 1.82 carrat, H color, VS2, Depth 68, Table 67, thin to med., good, good no cutlet or floresence diamond for 8,900. I have only put down a 1500 deposit kind of earnest money so I could theoretically get out of the deal. Please respond on value and quality of this diamond.
