Elongated French Cuts - please educate me.

Hello Psers,

I know some of you out there have great knowledge on French Cut stones. Elongated look amazing and I am hoping to make this into a Eternity Band. How are these stones cut and who is best to supply / make the ring please? Also will this sit well with an 3 stone Asscher cut ring with tapered bullets?

I personally would use baguettes or carre cuts to make a band to go with asschers. But for either elongated french cuts or baguettes, I'd use Caysie van Bebber through Love Affair Diamonds. She can make them modern or antique style. She will do custom if you don't see one here that you like. But you can see that she does use elongated french cuts. French cuts will be more expensive than baguettes.

I just looked back at your earlier post, and if you had Leon make the asscher ring, I would maybe have him make a baguette or carre cut band to go with the asscher ring.

Oh my, I am so sorry, I totally forgot that Victor had made one with elongated stones! Yes, he would be perfect to make the band if the e-ring setting is by LM. His work is very, very fine quality.
