Hello, I am posting for the first time. I need help from the Pricescope community on the following issues:




I am considering a diamond with an EGL Cert. The vendor gave me a copy of the certificate and told me that it is a Certificate by an EGL USA Lab. How do I verify that the certificate is by the EGL USA Lab? I heard that other EGL Labs, especially the Israeli Lab is soft on grading.




Also, does EGL Labs check whether a stone is synthetic or treated?

You will see clearly that an eGL USA cert has USA in the logo and in their name at the top.
No name - not USA, and you would be correct to expect the non USA report to be softer.
