I have questions related to EGL Certs:
One jeweler told me that EGL uses Sarin machines in their grading process. He also said that color was now measured by machine (less subjective). Does anyone know if this is true?
I have seen two types of EGL certs. One is an 8 1/2 x 11" size with "US" as the first part of the serial/identification number. Does that mean the cert was generated in a US lab?
Saw another EGL cert, a small folded card, approximately 4 x 4". The jeweler didn''t know where the cert was generated, but that the stone was cut in Israel. Does that mean the cert was from Israel?
