I didn''t see this line until taking photos, and it''s really difficult to see with a loupe unless you know where to look. It is a 1/2 carat total weight, Sitara branded (I bought it on SUPER clearance

) diamond ring. What could this be? It''s on the small diamond to the left.

line begins at 2 o'clock and ends about 8 o'clock

looks like a reflection of your fingers holding the camera

hmmm, on only one diamond? Ring was put on left hand, camera was held with the right hand on the right side of the camera and the line is on the left diamond? I might be taking it back anyway as taking photos made me notice that all of the diamond have fish eye

OH, ignorance really is bliss *sometimes*!

None of those diamonds have fish eyes SB.
The center of the diamond see''s light from the opposite side - so that explains the opposite side.
If your left hand was holding the lower left of the camera then that explains the 2 o''clock pink line.

do an experiment with the camera held the up down way :-)

I believe the darkness you see is obstruction?

wow! Cool thing about the camera

In all but two of the photos I took there was a light center, with a really dark circle aorund it, followed by a light colored circle. If you look at the diamond at an angle it''s not as easy to see. Thought that was fisheye but I guess I''m wrong

Thank you

That is not fisheye, just table reflection.

I would like to see all of your soliataires with diamond wedding bands. Presently I have a 1.01 princess cut diamond with channel set princess cut diamonds and matching band. I attached a picture so you can get a perspective. I am considering changing my setting again to a solitaire with perhaps a 3/4 eternity band. I have always been a matchy kinda girl, but I see others that "go outside of the box" and I very unique and I really like them. Also, would resetting my diamond into a solitaire make the stone "pop" more or seem bigger?

jonathan, to see solitaires check out the "helpful threads" thread at the top of the page in the show me the ring forum.

the line does look suspiciously flesh coloured - can you see it when you look directly at the ring?
