I took some photos of my Vatche U-113 that I hope will be helpful for future posters and viewers considering the Vatche U-113. Please excuse the dust, the photos were much more intended to be educational rather than glamour--the beauty is accidental on my part. I shot these in early evening light (a little more diffuse) and others in mid-morning light (more direct). They are close to what my eyes see. The only post-photo adjustments I made were slight changes in exposure.
In terms of comparison to the iconic Tiffany's 6-prong, I cannot tell an immediate difference from a distance. On close inspection, the prongs of the U-113 are a little thicker, and the scalloping is a little higher. The meet-point of the prongs and head are very similar to the Tiffany. The shank is also very similar to the Tiffany.
The setting is very well-made. I can see some very minor inconsistencies in the ring in these very macro photos, but definitely not in person.
