Ebay?

Hello all,

I am a newbie at ring buying. I'm looking at rings on E-Bay and can't figure out if there is something wrong with these rings, because the prices seem too good to be true. For example, what do you guys think about the following:

Rings on eBay can be found for a deal but you have to do a lot of searching. Does it have to be round? Or are you open to other shapes? What price are you trying to stay under? Are you open to vintage styles or only solitaires?

It's clarity enhanced. I don't know enough about clarity enhancing to explain the implications and potential ramifications, but do a search for clarity enhanced in this forum, and read up on it. I'm sure I've read about at least one case where after a few years, a clarity enhanced diamond took on a cloudy appearance, but I can't speak to how likely or how common that is. Ultimately, I don't think that ring is a "bargain", but others may disagree.

There are some ebay vendors who are well respected on this forum, and it should be easy to do a search and find out who they are.
