eBay strikes back!! Estate 0.59ct H SI2 pear in yellow gold!

I''ve been hankering for a little pear diamond of my very own for quite some time now. I had a pear pendant for a while but I found I missed wearing my RB halo pendant too much, so I sold the pear. I came across this little treasure on eBay, advertised as an ''estate'' 0.59ct H SI2 pear solitaire. I threw in a bid and won, to my delight at an absolute steal!! The details I posted are what came on the appraisal, I don''t know how accurate they are (and in a stone this size I''m not too fussed), but it has been to my jeweller for a checkup and she''s a little beauty!

I was delighted with this when it arrived in the mail. I was a tad apprehensive because of the price, but as soon as I opened the package and took the ring out it threw flashes of light all over the room!

I didn''t notice it during the photoshoot!

I don''t think it is in fact an H in colour, as the diamonds in my other rings are Gs and Hs, and as you can probably see from the pic, the pear has alot more colour than one grade difference would have, I''m sure. Not to worry, because it''s a lovely, creamy, ''warm'' white and I love it! It''s SO sparkly!

dks - I was thinking about snapping it up and popping it into a heavier setting I currently have a RB set into... however I like the current setting so much I think I''ll keei it as is for now!

cathers - the other rings I posted were my Ering (3stone - 1.5ctw) and wedding/eternity rings next to it, and an 18ct yellow gold diamond scatter band wih 5 .02ct RBs in it.

mara54 - Well the appraisal it came with stated it had an IVP of $2130. I don''t know how accurate it is, although I have a .41ct RB valued at $2300 - higher colour though, so perhaps it is close to the mark. I didn''t get my jeweller to appraise it, I''m not ready to part with it yet!
