ebay Dream stone - 6 hrs 25 minutes to go!

I just thought I'd share this incredible ebay stone with others. It is a 2.5 ct J VS1 European Cut. 8.37mm x 8.52mm x 5.70mm.

I have been drooling over this and I thought I'd share in case someone else was looking for an incredible, dream stone. The current bid is only $5,800.00. It would be great if it went to a PSer. The seller is designer*jewelry*investments. They are the same people I got my eternity band from. My picture DOES NOT do this stone justice.

Funny....I watched this right down to the last second and was debating whether to jump in at the last minute. For once my rational self won out -- want vs need. I too hope a lucky PSer got this as it truly looked like a wonderful stone. Damn my rational self!!

No need to be sorry, I must not have wanted it bad enough or I would bid more. I actually started to ready a higher bid that probably would have won it, but was too leery of that 'J' color. If it was a low or misgraded 'J' I might not have liked it, so I hesitated long enough to get outbid. Even my lower bid almost won it.

Have no fear, you can still follow anothe Andelain custom project that's at the drawing board right now. Hint; look at my recent threads about some loose stones I've been buying up.

So far I've bought or am buying 8 stones between .41 and .67 cts to be used in a custom made wrap ring to be worn with my Eightstar. I most likely won't use all 8, plus one I have Jamie looking at for me, but I'm sure what's left over won't stay homeless for too long. Guess I'll just have to any the extras made into drops to wear with my studs.
