Easy peasy Michael B question

Just trying to get the naming right....

Are the Michael B settings in the Princess collection fishtail or micropave? Or both?

"The Princess Ring" (and Petite Princess) looks to be "fishtail", whereas the "3-sided Princess" looks to be micropave.

Did I get the names right?

I could have sworn that the one I tried on yesterday had the fishtail type band and the sales lady told me that''s what it was called, but I just want to be sure.

I''m trying to draft up a verbal description of what I''d like in a band so that I can look into getting something made similar to the Michael B Princess Ring (I want to change the setting of the stone a bit.)

michael b princess rings come in 2 styles, the fishtail which I believe he call''s V-step pave and also beadset pave. I believe the fishtail is the most popular. you can see the differences here:

the fishtail looks like its the "princess" model and the bead set pave seems to be the "petite princess" model.

haven''t heard the term v-step pave before. i thought fishtail was not actually a pave. but calling it v-step implies that fishtail is a type or style or pave??

anyhow, i love em both, but appreciate the added security of the fishtail "prongs".
