east/west emerald cut setting

Hi all, I have had this picture saved forever and I am wondering if anyone remembers who's this was. I can't find it on Whiteflash so it must have been custom. I am looking for a side angle of this or similar settings. I am looking at designing something similar, but with a sapphire instead of diamond for center stone. I like simple and sleek designs and will most likely go with an emerald cut, radiant or asscher. Thanks!

How fun! I will post pics of my sister's set--the e-ring was a sapph, and her wedding band was made by the same jeweler in Chicago (Stan at M. Martin & Co.). The anniversary band was purchased later at an estate sale. She loves her set and gets comments on it all the time! She is a size 6.5 for reference. She is also 6 feet tall, so has a lot of finger real estate. . I think her e-ring is 6mm. The local jeweler told her, "if you can still bend your knuckle, there's more room to stack!" She took these pics on her cell phone one night. I need to get better pics!

WF would be the best source for information about your original setting. I'm not a big fan of those prongs though, and I think they'd be even more noticeable with a sapphire.

I think woofmomma's Sholdt setting is a nice choice: and it's affordable.

I am the biggest fan of Woofmama's Sholdt ring. It's so elegant and stylish.
