I have a Tiffany Lucida engagement ring. If I wanted to purchase a pair of similar matching stud earrings and a solitaire pendant, where would I start? Which PS online vendors would you recommend and which stones would you recommend? I'm a newbie trying to learn about similar looking stones.. radiant, Jubilee, Flanders, Lucerne, etc. Thank you! :read:

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Lucida is the simple solitare with 4 prongs? What shape is your center stone in your ering? Do you want the same shape for your earrings and pendant? I'm assuming it is either a cushion or MRB.

Pending your budget you can run a search at IDJ, WF, BGD, ERD and JA. All of these vendors have diamonds that they can set into simple 4 prong earrings or a sliding pendant etc. I would probably start another friend giving the specs you want and your budget then see what people turn up. You will probably have to contact each vendor to see what they have that is matching for the earrings.

Oh and also I'm assuming you want the same color from your ering to match your set or be in the same ball park? Many people do though honestly I don't see the point and I would drop down lower in color for earrings and especially a pendant. You won't notice the color change since they aren't next to your ering...just things to think about.

The Lucida is a Tiffany patented mixed cut diamond, set in a wide platinum band.

In terms of the shape, I think it's probably quite similar to a radiant cut (clipped corners etc). And of all the ones you listed, that would be the easiest to come by I would think. The Lucida seems to have larger facets, more like a Flanders, but they aren't all that common. Unless you are going to go for gigantic studs, there wouldn't be much difference between a flanders cut and a radiant. That's just my 2c!!

You could possibly even get away with a princesses cut...

Hearts on Fire has "Dream" cut that's a bit similar. But almost as pricey as the Lucidas. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread as I've always longed for one of the Lucida bezel pendants.

SB621.... thanks for all the helpful vendor information. It's going to take me a little while before I'm ready to purchase, but I want to start learning early... I do want the earrings and pendant to match my ring in shape, but I'm trying to figure out which sizes I'd want... I think I'd want the earrings to be between .33-.75 -- I'll have to try some on to figure that out. What I don't know is if I'd want the pendant to be smaller or larger than my e-ring. What do you think looks better? I'm thinking about getting a slight upgrade for my e-ring, and then I'll have a .72 that I could potentially use for a pendant. Could then later try to find a good deal on the Lucida earrings, but that may take awhile. The other option is to just sell my first ring and get a radiant pendant and earrings made (I could make the pendant larger that way if I wanted).

MissKittyKat.... thanks for linking the Lucida. I do think maybe a radiant would be the easiest way to go. I like the clipped corners, so I don't want princess cut.

DecoDelighted.... I can't afford this, but maybe you can? It's a beautiful pendant.

OK, I'm back after researching a bit more. I want the e-ring to be the biggest, then pendant, and then the earrings. Now I'm not sure if I want Lucida (prong) stud earrings or RB martini stud earrings though. Also, do I want a Lucida pendant with the prong setting or bezel setting? Do I want everything to match exactly or just complement each other? What do you guys think?
