After about a month of daily lurking on this forum I''m ready to post a question. You all have helped me a great deal up to this point!

I''m putting together an engagement ring for my girlfriend. It is simultaneously stressful and exciting. The most exciting part was the sapphire arriving in the mail from Natural Sapphire Co yesterday. It''s is EXACTLY what i had hoped it would be! Now I need help with the mounting...

The stone is an oval. I would love to have it set east to west in a semi, partial, half bezel. Around the band I would like to have milgrain on the edge. I hope that would help it blur the lines of both modern and antique. White gold probably 14kt to keep the price down.

Anyone know where I can find what I''m looking for?

Thank you!

I know for a fact that Whiteflash would be able to come up with something for you. Is there a particular reason you want to go with the East West alignement?

This was the runner up for my ER. I'm sure it could be made for an oval. It's by sholdt. http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/sholdt-jewelry/rings/

Oooh Dani, what a lovely setting. that one is on my list of settings to consider and I think it could be a good solution for the OP!

This one would be nice with some miligraining, as it is modern, yet classic at the same time (pulled from the thread Dani linked)...
