What''s the best place to get e-ring insurance? Neither of us have homeowners insurance because we live in apartments. We don''t have renter''s insurance either, but we could either get that or put in on my boyfriend''s AAA. Then there''s the option of using a freestanding jewelery insurer like Chubb.

What do you all suggest? I''d prefer to go with a type that doesn''t require an appraisal or will use the Whiteflash appraisal because of the extra expense, time, and hassle, but I''d be open to appraisal-requiring options too.

Thanks so much!

do a search here on Chubb and Jewelers Mutual. those are the two big ones.

There are countless threads on the topic of e-ring insurance you can read through.

Personally, I just recently bought Chubb insurance. I''m a renter who does have renter''s insurance, but even my own insurance company suggested not using their policy to cover the ring. They suggested State Farm, which I know several people on PS have.

I think the big 3 to check out are Chubb, SF, and Jewelers Mutual.

I''m a homeowner, but went thru Chubb. They did accept the Verification letter from WF.

I went through state farm and am very happy. I was told that they will do a payout if anything happens to the e-ring.
