I have no idea how you could find it but there was a thread about this *maybe* a year ago. It followed a woman doing the same thing and she explained how she did it. Maybe someone else will remember what I am talking about. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Wow skippy you are amazing! That is the EXACT thread I was talking about!
I had a feeling it was a good idea!! I don''t ever want to go grey but I don''t want to overdo the colour " look" so I think this is the most elegant way of approaching it for me. Everyone is so used to be being blond that I think this way would be less noticeable, it gets lighter as I age, but is still blondish, even if silvery.Date: 8/16/2007 1:33:08 PM

This is what my girlfriend did. Her white hair almost completely matches her blonde, I swear. She''s still in her 40s..Date: 8/16/2007 11:50:20 AM

I colour my hair a champagne blonde, once my greys start to hit I plan to colour more of a silver to platinum blond so that my hair looks coloured silver white, this I think would be a good compromise and also if the greys are resistant then it doesn''t matter if the odd one won''t take the colour. I have been colouring for so many years and still have a thick mop, I would miss not doing it!
Diana to answer your question I can''t work out if you want to go grey or cover it?

The secret to looking great with gray hair is (IMVHO) keeping it from getting that dull, yellow-y tinge and wearing it in a flattering, up-to-date style. I LOVE the look of stylish, pretty, silvery hair on *mature* women. I think that with attractive make-up, and pretty earrings, the look is lovely. In general, I don''t think that the look of older women still sporting the shoe-polish black hair is really very flattering.
