Durability of Engraved Rings?

Hello! Since I started looking for an ering my taste in rings has changed SO many times! There are so many beautiful rings out there!

I was wondering if anyone can speak about the designs of engraved rings changing over time. Does the detailing wear off and fade? Does anyone wear their engraved ering with a wedding band?

I''ve found some Phillip Press (http://www.platinumrings.com/?section=showcase) rings that I like but I''m wondering if the detailed engraving around the band and on the sides will disappear after a few years.

Hi OCLady.....I have custom made platinum hand engraved rings (ering and wb) that I have had since 1998. I can tell that some of the engraving is worn, but only on the bottom of the ering. No other signs of wear after 12 years. Hope this helps!

the edges may not stay as crisp over time, but the engraving should definitely still be visible. look at antique rings to see how engraving wears over time and see if you like it.
