Hello All, I have been drooling over the McTeigue & McClelland website and inquiring about pricing on a couple of rings. I have to say that Walter McTeigue has been nothing but gracious and helpful and the simpler settings start at about the same price range as Leon, Tacori and others, so in other words, I can probably afford one in my lifetime!

For your viewing pleasure, the Flame Ring with a yellow diamond! Link

I mentioned my brief dealings with Walter on another thread, and I agree - they seem nice!

And this one one of the two rings that I LOVED. Would have loved it for my pad, but their settings seem more expensive than Leon''s? The quote I got for the other setting was over 6K.

I hope we see more of their rings on PS!

And they seem to have the "claw prong" thing down too.

I will have to find something (something large!) for one of these settings.

since I''ve blown a my diamond budget for the rest of my life, hmm, what gemstone
would look awesome in the setting I posted? gotta go research...

I've been jonesing big time for the one called 'Belle Epoque' on their site (under bridal) but how many rings can one acquire in their lifetime?

Don't answer that!

Here it is

tradergirl, Love that! This is the one I want for my .79 ct. yellow diamond, the "Beaux Arts". It is priced the same as comparable designer settings (quoted at $3500), and I love the millegrained bezel! I might just take the plunge, when I get the diamond that is!

Or, since I am getting a light yellow diamond pair, maybe this, but what to put in the middle? Other than a gorgeous emerald. I was thinking teal sapphire.

TravelingGal, sorry to confuse, I meant that some of the bridal settings are comparable, not the one I first showed above! I don''t know how much this one is, but it is so pretty!

I was looking at the Beaux Arts too. There''s something about the combination of engraving, milgraining and a bezel that just do it for me.

I know, it is perfection. It would look awesome with an Old European from GOG. Holy crap, I need a 3rd job. My wish list is getting more expensive by the second.
