Wedding Dress shopping, with pics!

Yay! My first post on this board! I''ve only been engaged for just over a week now, but had all of these ideas in my head long before, so we haven''t wasted any time planning the wedding! We''re getting married May 23 at a wedding chapel on a golf course, and the reception will be at the same location only in a reception hall. They had only one date left for the entire summer for next year, and we didn''t want to wait until 2010, so we booked it, and so far I''ve also booked the officate and photographer.

Anyways, my mom and I went dress shopping on Saturday and Sunday, but sadly, neither place allowed photography. I did end up finding a dress that I absolutly love so once I decided to order, they let me take some pics of it on the manequin. I ordered it from the second place we went, and they offered 10% off if you ordered right away. It was under my budget too, so I decided not to wait! The top is pretty low on me (I have a DD chest), but the salesgirl said that alterations could very easily add some fabric inbetween the V just to give it a little more privacy, or even tack it closed a little more, and that was my only reservation so once she said that, I was sold!

It has very pale blush pieces of fabric on the bodice, which I absolutly love because it''s so subtle, and I think it will look great with pale peonies, which I plan on carrying.

Yah Anniee, your dress is so pretty. I bet it's super flattering - love the neckline and detailing. I also like that it's got classic lines with a bit of a twist with the blush bodice. Congratulations on finding "the one."

Ashleigh- don''t feel bad! It''s because I have just under 7 months until we''re getting married! Things book up so fast here and I don''t want to end up feeling like I got last pick and not being as happy as I could have. My dress won''t even be coming in until March, and that only leaves 2 months before the wedding.
