Dress is in! (Pictures)

My dress is in and today I went with one of my best friends to try it on - basically just for fun and to take pictures so my mom can see it (I''m living across the country right now).

It fits pretty well except for the bust which will need to be taken in a LOT. As, I knew it would be.

This is a Saison Blanche bridesmaids dress and under $300! I highly recommend shopping for BM dresses that come in white or ivory for ANYONE on a tight budget.

it really is going to do just perfectly for our outdoor wedding and reception. our wedding wont be super formal (FI will be in a navy suit - not a tux) so i think this will fit the occasion. also, it feels really nice - it has a good weight to it, which i think helps make it more "bridal" and less "bridesmaids-y"

You look so beautiful! I was going to say to add the buttons to give it that extra bridal feel, but as soon as you added the veil, it totally transformed you into a bride! So now I say the buttons are not necessary, but if you like them and it would be easy to do, I think they would be really pretty too!

I love the idea of the buttons, at least to cover the zipper. IMO, I think it would look really elegant to carry them all the way down the back of the dress and wear it with a long veil, but that might be more formal than you want. However you do it, I think you are going to be a spectacular-looking bride
