Dreamer, what a wonderful purchase. I love the icey whiteness of your new pretty. I can''t wait to see what you do with it. Also, either your daisy is teeny or that stone is way bigger than a 0.63ct.

ps. I love your dachsies. Dapples and long haired are my favorites.

So much thanks to Freke, pricessplease, ficklefaye, gecko, catmom, peaches, AmberGretchen, puffy, Lori, Kim, Maisie, bling addict, chiquitapet, dandiandi, lorelei, D&T, Dani, fashionvictim, and Skippy!!

And also thanks for the compliments on my photos! I just use a little sony cybershot on macro mode, but I loooove looking for the best lighting and trying to capture what I see with my eyes. It''s tough! Actually, this is the first time I have been able to capture fire!

It looks great! It is so white and defined. I''m excited to see how this project pans out. Seems you put a lot of thought into everything, so I''m sure the end result will be perfect.

Inclusions? What inclusions? All I see is a helluva gorgeous white diamond! Congrats on such a rare and excellent find!

this is so pretty dreamer - what''s the plan for this pretty stone?
Thanks Violet, love your sapphires! I''m not really sure what I will do with it... any suggestions?
Ummmm....beeeeaaaauuuutful necklace perhaps? Or RHR with sapphire sidestones (to represent your old ER and the trade up)? Or RHR with little teeny diamond halo? or antique looking sapphire baguette halo ala fay cullen? I could go on all day....

or my favorite option....one more, same color, two martini studs for your beautiful ears!

Ditto thritto!!

I have to admit, even though in reality I favour lower coloured, lower clarity for size/ budget reasons (and they do face up very white if well-cut), if I was really honest I''d have to say I''m very much a white diamond mind-clean kind-of-girl at heart. If money was no object, I''d only own diamonds in the D-E-F VVS-VS range.

Martini studs of this colour would be absolutely amazing!!

Great stone! How fun for you to have a colorless and lower colored stone to satisfy both needs!!

What will you do with it?
It is really fun to have stones at both ends of the spectrum. I haven''t seen my K yet, I get it next week, but I am really looking forward to comparing the two. I love all the different colored diamonds, so having an F and a K is really cool!

For now I think I am going to set it into a temp solitaire setting since I don''t like having a loose diamond around, too easy to lose... but after that I don''t know what to do with it. I want to make a ring because I want to look at it, and it would be a RHR since I want to wear my larger diamond on my left hand. But I have so many things I love!

Three-stone with sapphire sides?
Bezel from JM?
Engraved yellow gold from Greenlakes Jewelry?
Diamond halo?

I just don''t know...

that gets my vote... I think a sapphire diamond ring with your little lovely would be a showstopper!

Well the daisy isn''t too small

It is a very nice sized diamond, I would say in real life it looks "medium" sized!

I love longs too, they are so soft to snuggle! I''m impressed you know your breeds

Thanks tigian I guess I do put a lot of thought into projects... I have a tendency to double think myself and wonder whether I made the right choice when it comes to my jewelry purchases
38.gif
I wish I was less cerebral that way and could just blithly enjoy the sparklies, but I always want to get a "good deal" in the way that Mrs. Salvo defines it: Getting *exactly* what I want!

DiamondFlame Thanks a lot! I agree that it is rare to find an eye-clean I1 and that sort of appeals to me about this little guy. I find that in natural lighing if I look at the diamond from a certain angle holding it about 3 inches from my eye I can see the inclusions... but only because I know where to look

Thanks tlh and Madam Bijoux

Phoenix and Violet I love the idea of earings, but truth is I never wear earings except my white gold hoops! My hair is styles medium length and I rarely wear it back, so the lovely sparkle would probably be lost!

ckrickett I may be leaning that way myself...

Niiiiice ice! Great photos too!

Love the photos, that is a beautiful diamond... looking forward to see what you decide to do with her

it''s so pretty! love the flower and fire shots.

I love the commentary with the photos! That''s just awesome!

It''s a beautiful stone, icy white and that''s a great I1!!

Congras! Definitely looking forward to see how you going to set it!

DD--
those flower shots are awesome.
you can see how "icy" that F stone is.
it''s simply beautiful.
