Down to two diamonds! Please help!

I''m down to these two diamonds... the SI1 is $10,000 and the SI2 is $9,400. Any thoughts? TIA

I remember reading somewhere in an old post, after cut, clarity is the next most expensive factor. Here is the thread where Garry said clarity costs more than color. How much?? I don''t know.

That first stone Finding Neverland posted faces up smaller than a 1.5 ct. stone should because of the thick girdle. However, the second one is an excellent choice:

I personally wouldn''t consider an SI2 that is only borderline eyeclean. I''d pay a few dollars extra to get an SI1.

It is best when in this situation to ask the vendor exactly what he means when he says borderline, compared to what your expectations are and own idea of ''eyecleanliness.'' However I would toss out this SI2 as it faces up smaller too.

What exactly does that mean? Which dimension are you looking at for this? What is acceptable for 1.50? Thank you so much!

1.5 is about 7.4 mm.

Lorelei said throw out the SI2 which is 1.6 (7.43x7.51) and actually faces up smaller than the 1.52 (7.46x7.55)
