They both look wonderful. I think most people here would say the color matters more than clarity especially VS1 vs VS2 will both be eyeclean, which is why the F VS2 is a little more expensive. Any idea how color sensitive she is or if she comes from a culture where clarity is more valued (Asian)?

A G is still plenty white IMO so I'd go with that one and get better clarity, a slightly bigger stone and still save some cash.

However, I'd still ask WF to pull both stones for you and tell you what they can actually see - which has more fire, which performs better, etc.

Yes i actually prefer the F color more but i afraid it will have a dull, cloudy finish.

(I made a thread few weeks ago talking about my friend's VS2 diamond which has a cloudy finish)

Thank you for your input tho

There is nothing in that F color stone - look at the diamond certificate and the 360 degree view of the stone - that would remotely suggest a dull, cloudy finish. These ACA stones are well vetted. Like ac117, I too would choose the G color stone for all the reasons she states and because I recently purchased a G, VS1 ACA stone as well! Either of them would be stunning but as she said, call WF and discuss the two stones with them. They will be very honest with you.

I vote for G and use the extra money towards a nice setting. Also not a fan of clouds not shown on the F. I say ask them to put two together and show you.

I think the F should be fine, clarity-wise. However, since it seems like you have more mindclean issues with clarity than color, the G VS1 is a great choice. That's my favorite color/clarity combo for an e-ring actually.

I like the G, VS1.
