Down to 2 ACAs... Help me!

This will hopefully be my last post regarding choosing a diamond! I've learned so much from this forum and you all have been so helpful.

I have narrowed my search down to these two WF ACAs. For a little background, I plan to set this in a Mark Morrell Petite Torchiere setting, so the sides of the diamond will be somewhat covered compared to some other solitaire settings.

They both are eye-clean, both should perform excellently, but I am having trouble deciding on the H color or the added size with the J. I've read a lot of forums with people saying to stay at H or higher in color for a solitaire. But, I know she'd love to have as large a stone as possible.

I'm a H color guy, but I'd go for the J in this case. With the ACA cut and a good platinum setting (which you're choosing), it should still face up very white. A little fluorescence would help, but I think the great cut will help more.

Can you get side-by-side images from WF to see how much tonal shift there is between these two color-wise? I'd be willing to bet it's not much. ACAs are cherry picked for a reason.

I think with the sides covered, the color won't be noticed as much. Plus, you already know she'd prefer larger. Down the road, you could upgrade color in the same size if it was too tinted.

Color is in the eye of the beholder. I have J earrings but wouldn't go below I for a solitaire over 2ct.

I color is also my personal limit in a round brilliant. Not sure why you omitted this one, but it seems to be the best option for greater size and better color than J. Ask if it is eyeclean, though.

DS, I have asked about this one! Does not meet their requirement for eye-clean unfortunately.

My choice would be the 2.40 J

I think even if it were a very slight warm white, I still would love it. Nice big size, ACA, what is there for a girl not to like.
