double wedding band question...

I'm on the search for a wedding band to wear with my engagement ring. (I made a post about this recently, I'm sorry to start another thread!)

What is it called when you have a double wedding band, and the engagement ring "fits" into the band, so it can be worn as one piece. A couple of my friends have this...

I don't know if I like the idea A. because it will cover some of my side diamonds B. you can't wear the wedding band alone or change up your set.
What I do like about this style is that I can get the look of two bands, without having to worry about damage to my e-ring or needing a spacer.

I haven't seen many pricescopers with this style, which makes me think it is an unpopular choice. However, I'd like to know the name of it so I can search for pictures of this style and really weigh my options.

I think what you're looking for might be called a wrap? I'm not 100% sure though.

The only con I can think of really is that you can't wear the wedding band solo - it would look weird without the engagement ring in the center.

Yes it's a wrap. Made to fit around your ering, it fits snugly .. These were made when an ering has a curve and a wedding band wouldn't sit flush with it. To me, they can look a bit dated, as in the 80's and 90's. The biggest downfall is they can't be worn solo...

Who says it can't be worn solo if you like the look? I like that look but my fiancee does not so I did not design the ring like that.
