Hi Everyone!
I'm looking to double check that I'm not missing anything important with purchasing my engagement ring and I'm hoping to purchase both the ring and diamond from the same person, but I'm not having much luck with that just yet.
My requirements for the diamond are:
Excellent Cut
~1.5 ct
G or better
SI1 or better
The diamonds I am contemplating are:

http://www.brilliantlyengaged.com/1.51-carat-g-vs2-excellent-round-cut-diamond-gid-17949.html

The best ring design match I've found is below, but in an ideal world, the ring would be thinner and have some kind of interesting detail in the "middle" of the cathedral. This example is also in platinum, though she's ok with a white gold material and I would love to pay a bit less for it.

Please let me know, should you:
- have any thoughts on these diamonds (or know where I can get the same quality for a better price)
- know where I can find the setting in a thinner, gold design
- have both comparable diamond and the setting - I'd love to get it from the same vendor.
Thanks for your help!
