When a stone is bought in person and therefore people online lose their chances on it?

All That Glitters is AWESOME in that they have an On Hold option. I don't have the funds for a $1300 gem, but certainly I could slowly pay its way. Sold . Oh well, I hope whoever did get it enjoys it!


Although theres a Richard Homer gem that just melts my heart, $500 more and 0.2mm smaller, probably/hopefully/prayingly will be mine...

That is a very, very pretty sapphire. I felt the same about a couple of ATG's purple sparklies. Seems to sell to quite a few jewelers....
I'll keep my fingers crossed for that RH sapphire for you!

MontageCreations, I hadn't posted it here lol. It was just purchased by a retail store who's going to hike the price up 100%.

I emailed Allen about it and he explained the circumstances. The sapphire right next to it on the site is still available, but it seems darker to me, and my "ideal" color is rather lighter. ATG a nice return policy and are extraordinarily pleasant. So we'll see...
