Done my homework, Help me find a 1.5 Carat stone - $8500

Ok everyone! Thanks for this great forum. I have learned so much.

I am buying an E ring stone for my girlfriend.

Round cut, and would like 1.5 Carats and up (bigger is better right ) Eye clean and colorless.

My budget is $8,500 for the stone (top of my budget). Am I being realistic?

Nope, not for colorless! We will have to look closer to J color with that budget!

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0)

IN the price range you are looking you will likely have to look in the H/I color range and potentially SI1 clarity range. It is important to consider top-tier cut a priority and ask about eye-cleanliness from the seller. Odds are you can find a terrific diamond within those ranges.

Just my opinion...#1 CUT....mix/match/divide for your budget. I would never sacrifice CUT for bigger is better, I think you can find a very nice diamond for your budget keeping in mind you can give and take on Color, Clarity, and Size.
