Never heard of that phrase! Funny! You definitely need to be wary of Tiffany stuff on ebay, a great %age of it is fake. You could work out some sort of return policy contingent on getting the nod from Tiffany''s when you take them the ring for authentication...but getting your money back from eBay scammers has not been the easiest thing in the world, as we''ve seen several times here.Date: 6/9/2006 3:18:13 PM

It may be a moot point already, but if that is the ring that was on Signed Pieces earlier this week, then have no worries, it will be authentic, Signed Pieces does not sell ''Tiphonies''.
well i have never seen a tiffany piece up close in person, but the pictures in my book the engravings are distinct, well done, dark and deep. anyone know knows more about this than I do want to chime in?Date: 6/9/2006 4:47:05 PM

I also have an authentic Tiffany platinum band and the stamp is indeed as indicated as above: (C) 1999 Tiffany & Co. It is not necessarily deep but it is definitely there and conspicuous.Date: 6/9/2006 1:45:39 PM
