Does this wedding ring work?

Hi,

I just had my wedding ring/band delivered from James Allen and I love it, however I'm not sure it works with my engagement ring as it doesn't sit flush. Is there a risk they rub and damage the rings? I'm happy and don't mind the gap but worry it may not be a great long term option.

See where the girdle is exposed?
Anytime any of the wedding band’s melee’s girdles come into contact with your engagement ring - it will cause wear and damage. And relatively quickly.

I think they look lovely together.
I would get a super thin spacer to put between the two rings to solve the running damage issue. Some of those spacers are also pretty low profile, and aren’t very visible overall if you are concerned with not having a three ring stack look.

I like them together, very pretty. I do so love a gap, myself.
Yup, a spacer will do ya as the secret sauce and you can add or change stacks as you wish. Possibilities are endless.

Yup, you definitely need a thin spacer. Teeny tiny ones are sold on etsy and other places (like 1mm), so they'll hardly be noticible. I love the stack!

You will get damage pretty quickly on the ering so find a nice spacer. I love a good channel set diamond band to add to your pretty stack.

Agreed. I have a 2ct eternity band that hit my Tiffany & Co setting and it already needs to be repaired, it has been 3 months of wear...I have a very thin spacer off Etsy coming...
