Does this look too new to be an original?

I think maybe old stone new setting or old stone and old setting that was never worn. It looks like a pretty diamond, how big is it?

Looks about UV/WX light brown. Fancy browns are much more saturated. They probably polished the ring recently. At that color/size, lab might cost more than natural vintage (if you can find a good deal) so i'm gonna guess not lab.

@nala -Woman, I'm telling you we're all going to visit you one day and you're going to take us shopping. :praise:
It looks like a vintage setting that's been polished to the hilt. Is it hollow or solid? I'm not mad about the price and it's a really pretty stone.

Srly. As soon as this COVID thing goes away, we're all going antique shopping. (Sorry I totally invited myself here)

It very light. But I have another original gypsy set one that is also very light—-almost seems hollow.
I like the stone too but I don’t know much about chocolates diamonds

So I actually bought this one earlier but I can trade it up for the brown one this was only 600. I’m on the fence. The 3 stone is over a carat of old mine cuts on 18 karat gold with little rose cuts.

I like that single diamond ring, the three diamond gives more coverage though, so if overall presence is #1 then it’s the three stone. That chocolate diamond is yummy!

Oohmm, that's a dilemma. Will you wear the band or will you wear the gypsy more? If you don't have many high colored diamonds then the gypsy set a nice addition(you don't see that many of them)but not if you won't wear it, ya know?
