I don't think so...I think fish eye is when the table is v. large.

Only a pretty severe fish eye will be visible in a photo (monocular lens).

I have an antique stone w/ a very clear fish-eye IRL when viewed w/ two eyes face-up, and of course even more so when slightly tilted. In photos angled face-up though - you'd have no idea. The table isn't huge but it's larger, and the girdle is thicker and abraded - fish eye is reflection of the girdle, reflection of an unfinished/abraded/unfaceted girdle is just that much more odious.

No fish eye in that one - just a whole lot of mush under the table :sick:

If you are referring to that circle in the middle that is a large culet, which is a flat facet polished onto the bottom of the diamond which was a more common style of diamond cutting long ago.

If not then don't listen to me. :rodent: :tongue:
