Does this 3 stone look good on me?

YES, it looks beautiful on your finger! Your stone would be gorgeous as a 3-stone with those proportions. I think it's all about the *look* you enjoy most. Your double halo is magnificent and has the opulence factor, whereas the 3-stone would be just as blingy but more of a stately look. Both options are enviable...which way are you leaning?

So I reset it. Lol. The jeweler sold me the setting he had in stock. I put my non ideal sidestones in it and saved two thousand dollars. Lol. I didn’t want to commit to ideal sidestones bc I know myself. I swap out my settings with the seasons. Tho it’s not perfect, I’m very happy with the overall look. My sidestones are colorless as I bought them pre ps and focused on color. They seem to be decent. Lol. Here’s a pic.

I love it! Looks like a completely different ring with your diamond, which by the way is soooo pretty. Your side stones are cut differently so they make your center really stand out, enjoy!

OMG! It's exquisite!! :kiss2: (And you work fast, girl! lol) I like how you kept it simple, used what you had, went with a stock setting....and ended up with this fabulous beauty. The stars aligned! And if you feel the need to change it up, you won't have "wasted" much, if anything. Good job!

Have you played with stacks yet? How are you liking the new look?? I'm super interested in following your experience because Caysie will be re-setting my cushion (currently in a single halo) into a 3-stone next spring.

I have so many stackers but I really don’t feel they compliment the 3 stone. I’ll keep playing with it as I grow accustomed to it but for now, it’s going solo!

I find 3/5 stone settings VERY hard to stack without them looking too busy and fussy. And they just don’t seem to go in my opinion, maybe you can make it work!

Gorgeous look ! Very clean ! What’s the size of sides ?

late to the party, haha. WOW, I LOVE IT!

So what do you think nala? It compliments you stone and your finger very nicely. Did you keep your halo setting? :lol-2:

I agree! You have a beautiful stone and this setting lets it shine!
I edited my previous post to say more! I just wondered how you feel about it.

Well done, I love the new setting!

I had a three stone setting a few years ago, and I loved it most stacked with a simple rose gold band. Your new setting is beautiful!

I have to agree with everyone else here..:kiss2:It's beautiful and you certainly have the fingers to "Rock" it!!:mrgreen2:Oh how I would love to have longer fingers instead of short stubby ones!
Job well done!!

Thank you! I’m realizing that my bands do compliment the ring but I think my finger looks more slender without stacking! It’s odd how much of an overall effect it seems to have on my finger. But I’ll keep playing with my bands to confirm. Lol.

We’d love more photos nala! :P2

How about a thin plain band between the ering and another diamond band? I found with a three stone that bands need to be thin to keep it looking defined rather than a mess of diamonds.

I’m totally IN LOVE with your 3-stone, but that’s the style I prefer. I do some stacking with mine. I’ll grab some pics if they give you any appropriate/interesting ideas!

It’s not even the fear of lots of diamonds. It’s just that I think my finger looks more slender. Lol.

THIS!! I used to have a slender ring finger but it suddenly grew one whole size this year (JUST this finger, none of my other fingers grew). I no longer stack more than 2 rings because not only are my fingers short to begin with, I now get finger muffin top if I attempt 3 or more rings! o_O I've found that one main diamond ring + one very thin band (whether plain or diamond) helps my finger look less sausage-like and squeezed.

And this, too!! With 3-stones, I agree that thin bands complement best. "Mess of diamonds" is a great way to describe it!

I like it alone or with the bigger band of diamonds. Not the gold band

@nala I love the three stone on you! I love it alone, with the simple gold band and with the blingy five stone! I hope you enjoy this look for a while :D

I love it! I’m so envious on your decision making, you change things up so often and have fun with it. I can’t even make the simplest of decisionso_O

Have you seen @MissGotRocks? I think three stones look awesome and provide stunning finger coverage.

Though I will be partial to the three stone with pear sides.
