Does rose gold have nickel?

Not a direct CS question, but you are my people. I would like to buy some simple rose gold ball earrings. Does rose gold usually have nickel? If yes, does anyone know a trusted vendor who has a rose gold alloy without nickel?

I think I'm allergic (or sensitive) to nickel.

I too have a nickel sensitivity. I've had pieces made in 14K rose gold by my local jeweller and was assured it was nickel free. I am unsure of the exact alloy but it would be as what VL stated. I have never had issues with any of my rose gold jewellery causing a reaction. Keep in mind that some people are also sensitive to copper.
