Does one need CEs to keep their G. or G.G. up to date?

A "G" or "GG" is like a school diploma, showing that you graduated. Nothing further, end of story.

Many "G''s" and "GG''''s" do continue their education taking continuing education courses though. Many belong to gemological organizations that require continuing education courses in order to remain active in their organizations.
