Does anyone have any insight on Lab Grown Diamonds certified by GCAL 8x?

I'm looking into possibly purchasing a GCAL 8X lab grown diamond.

GCAL 8x diamonds are very well cut, often near super ideal or super ideal. GCAL does a lot of cut analysis to help you be assured of the cut quality of the stones. If you're looking for the absolute best cut, you might need to sift through to find the ones with the best cut precision, but otherwise the stones are a fairly "easy button."

The pricing you've been offered seems very high. Take a look at this 1.62 D VVS2 for $2493 (on sale for Valentine's Day).
