If so what do you love about it?

We're considering getting one.....

I don't have personal experience yet, but my daughter just gave one to her boyfriend for his birthday last week (without the cellular phone part) and we are giving her one as part of her college graduation gift in about 4 weeks. I still like watches as jewelry, so I have resisted thus far!

I bought my husband one as a gift and he only wears it when he takes our son to swimming training on the weekends. This is his way of not offending me but that in itself also tells me that it's his trash, wear it when you don't care piece of junk watch.

My DH has one and it stopped working after a few months which apparently can be an issue, it wouldn't boot up. We have to take it to a store to get it fixed.

I've often thought how convenient it'd be to have it right there on my wrist. But then I wouldn't be able to wear any of my other much loved pieces, & that shut down any further consideration.

My first impression- I like it.
Mainly because I plan on using it instead of the iphone. Smaller and easier to keep track of- and you can't do things like surf the web ( which to me, is a plus)

You might find it really handy in that case David, I know my DH really liked the way it paired with his phone and ' set him free' a bit.

I can totally understand what your hubby meant.
The iphone rerally "puts the world in your hands"
I'm tired of carrying all that weight.
I realize how many times I look at the darn thing ( phone)
it does feel very "Star Trekkie" answering the phone on your wrist....

Heh - he really loved that about it! I'd go for it personally, phones can be a PITA to carry and remember all the time, the watch is much easier.

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get a pair of those wireless headphones.....

Ive had a series 1 for just over 2 years. Waiting to upgrade, was thinking of buying my new one myself but my df usually gets me a phone for Christmas every 3 years - obv last time it was the phone AND watch. Mine still works fine I just want the newer features.

Now you're talkin'!
@Rockdiamond
I don't have the watch but I love the wireless headphones. I carry them with me everywhere. They are perfect if you have to wait somewhere. With the ear buds I always had to un-coil them and then when done wrap them back up and put them away. The wireless make all of that so easy.

I had the series 1 and upgraded to the series 3 with cellular when my employer decided we can no longer carry our phone. I have three kids, one who has epilepsy, and I refuse to be unreachable during my 12 hour shift. I also use it for working out. I absolutely love it!

I had an Apple Watch and it stopped working after less than two years. It would have cost the same as a new watch to fix it...they said the chip typically goes bad. I was annoyed so I bought a Fitbit because Interestingly the Apple tech quietly recommended I do that!

I bought the series 2 with cellular right after it made its debut. I wore it every day and loved it until the novelty wore off. Now I’m waiting for the watch tan lines to fade away and enjoying the feel and look of a less clunky wrist.

That was one of the reasons why my DF bought me mine. My phone is in my cupboard in the same room but I'm not allowed to have it out when I have a class. My DF thought I would prefer to know if someone needed to contact me about my son.

I've been enjoying wearing it. I won't use siri on my phone because I feel like it's always listening.
With the watch, it does not seem to respond unless I pick up my wrist in a definite motion.
Which is a cool feature- pick up your wrist and say "Hey Siri, call the garage" and boom, it's done.
So Star Trek

There's a cool feature where you can tap the face and it reads you the time- BUT- it needs to be either Micky or Minnie Mouse....

Oh- and the wireless ear buds are far better than I thought they'd be.....
