Do you think I should keep this necklace?

So I bought this necklace from a department stone and the diamond quality isn''t the best, but it really is pretty and I don''t have anything like it.

The pearl is 7mm and the diamonds are J/K color and I2/I3 clarity. It was on clearance for $220. Do you think its worth it or should I return it? I don''t wear pearls all that much but I think its nice to have a few pieces (I have one other simple pearl pendant with one small diamond at the top of it).

For $220, if it is set in gold, I'd keep it. I've paid close to that much for really nice costume jewelry. For a pendant with attractive styling, and the pearl looks nice enough quality, it'd be worth it to me. It looks lovely on!

I have some rings set with, er, not diamonds that I use to travel wtih, that have similar low quality melee. Doesn't really bother me, though, since the setting's style is quite pretty- tiny low quality melee isn't actively offensive to me, it just is kind of like marcasite... no fire, but reflects light off the surface of the facets.

If you like it, keep it. I have kicked myself for not buying things I liked and when I went back for it, it was gone.

The necklace looks really pretty on you by the way. I would keep it if I were you.

I think the pendant is pretty and it has a nice presence on your neck, but if you aren''t going to wear, then it isn''t worth it.

Thanks everyone! I''m going to see if it goes with the wedding dress I plan on ordering next month, and if not, I''m going to return it. I just don''t think I''ll get that much everyday use out of it...
