... when you're not on PS? For instance, I was just wondering to myself "I wonder how Kenny is doing on his new watercolor endeavor?".

Any one else have similar experiences?

Nope. Maybe if I had PS "friends" but I just kind of float in and out of discussions.

I do. And I talk about people here to JD like he knows them all.

Yes, I definitely think about my PS friends, every day in fact. I appreciate each and every one of them for the joy, the humor, the compassion, the support, for the color and richness that each generously contributes to my life.

I think about my PS folks all the time. I'll catch myself wanting to tell SO about something and realize he'd think I'm crazy.

Yes, especially my mommy friends.

Yes. But mainly I wonder about the ones who disappear suddenly. They go from posting every day, some for years, according to their join date, to just dropping off the forum quite suddenly. I wonder if they are okay.

I wonder about Sara in China.

Thanx for thinking bout me.
I've been so busy working lately and have only painted some practice sheets so far to experiment with color mixing and technique.
I'll post in-progress pics and little lesson tingies when done or further along.

Next week I should have the necessary large blocks of time.

I think about PSers in specific situations, especially when someone on here has inspired me to pursue something in particular.

For example, Dreamer inspired me to start running, so sometimes when I'm really having a tough time getting on the treadmill I'll think about Dreamer and how she manages to keep on running even though she has a little one, and here I am being a lazy arse with no children to care for at all. And then I get on the treadmill.

The only other thing I can think of right now is that I think about bee*'s picture of her pup and kitty leashed together outside. She wrote something like "Here they are pottering around in the garden" about that picture, and every time I have one of my kitties outside I think of bee* and wish that I could do the same thing. My dog runs too fast, though, and I'd be scared she would hurt the kitties by accident. I love that picture, bee*!

I talk and think about my HLT friends, mommy friends, and a few others. DH knows who I'm talking about if I say "monnie." lol And when there are specific situations going on especially where dust and prayers are needed I think of those people often.

yes, only the rich and available ladies .... :naughty:

Thanks Haven!

I often think of other PSers-especially those that I am friendly with outside of PS. I also think of those when they're visiting Ireland and look out for them if I'm in town in Dublin.

And for Haven......

Yes, I talk about PS a lot (mostly to hubby), especially everyone's suggestions/opinions about what I should do with my "little problem". I'm always dragging him over to the computer to see someone's new jewelry....

I definitely think of Pricescope members as real people. When Nashville wrote that she didn't have any, "friends" it was-for my purposes-besides the point. Whether or not I have, "friends", the people I think about may not be those close "friends"!

I will give you an example. My daughter wants to buy a Newfoundland. So I have been thinking about New England lady. Now I don't want to say that I do not have, "friendly feelings" towards New England lady. I definitely do! But we have not been on intimate terms, sharing a lot of time in a certain forum where we got very close. We are not friends outside of Pricescope. But I still think about her when a real life topic germane to her comes up. In fact, my daughter knows about her and calls her, "my friend". I had to explain that we couldn't just pop over there to visit and see her dog(s) because she was an on-line friend and I wasn't even sure what state she was in! At any rate, Pricescopers are pretty real to me. (Deb waves to New England Lady and her Newfoundland(s).)

I also feel like i'm not really "in" here... Perhaps it's because I don't share a lot of personal info with others, as this is a public forum. I feel like if i'm gone for a while, no one would even notice. But I still love interacting with everyone here!

It's not besides the point, I've only been posting for a couple months and haven't really had the opportunity to find a niche or really open up to anyone in particular, or learn about them. That happens in time, you've obviously been here much longer than I have. Sorry if you don't understand that, not everyone is looking for the same experience when visiting a forum.

She's doing ok gemgirl. We had a scare with her about two weeks ago where she developed a head tilt and she began losing her balance. I took her into work and got her checked out and she's been put on medication and thankfully it's started working. She's 13.5 years now so I'm in a panic whenever anything happens her. Thanks for asking about her:wavey:

She is beautiful. (I've a labradoodle)
Was her hair always that light?

Ditto! I was on my phone checking my FB page one night right after HH had her baby and I got so excited and started showing him pics like she was a friend of both of ours.

Thanks for posting the picture, bee*! Look at those babies, pottering around the yard!

I'm glad to hear Amber's doing well, sweet girl that she is.

Thanks Haven and Pink Tower. She was always that light. Over here our golden retrievers are either very light (a la Amber) or more golden but the light ones have been very common for about the past 15 years. I adore labradoodles.

Definitely! There is a group of ladies from PS that I've become quite close with, and think/worry about often.

Bee,

Here is our labradoodle; she came from a rescue organization. We got her in October.
The cat is from our local humane society; we got him on August 5.
Both were good choices. We feel quite fortunate because you never know what you will get with a rescue.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I am a big dog lover, and I get carried away when I see photos of dogs and cats together!

Haven, I still think this is awesome! It makes me fuzzy inside to know you find me inspiring  We still get our tushies out the door 4 days a week, me, hubby, and the baby is the stroller. We had to leave pups at home though, we run too fast now

I think about PSers all the time and talk about them to my real life friends. Some people know I am on a forum and I say "One of my forum friends.." and if they do not know I am on a forum (most people that is), I just say, "My friend..."

Like right now I am thinking of Yssie and Ltl off getting married and having honeymoons and hoping they had a great time!

Ill be honest, I try to turn my brain off from PS when I'm not on the site, or id probably go nuts. I tend to think of topics I want to bring up on here to get others opinions, or I will think of PSers in certain situations...right now I've been thinking a lot about my TTC and house hunting patners in crime.

I will say I was caught off guard a bit when someone here communicated with me off of this site recently...not in a bad way...it made me excited that I can communicate with peoople beyond the avatars here.

I should have known better than to post while rushing! I apologize for the use of that language. I would like to think that I would have thought better of it if I hadn't been being pushed out the door to act as chauffeur for an anxious teenager just as I was working on my wording!

What I meant was that I do not think only about people with whom I am actually friends. I think about people whom I just read, too. In other words, it doesn't really have to do with how much I post about myself or how much I interact; it has to do with how much I lurk and read about others. But if one is new and has has not had the opportunity to learn about others, of course one has not had the same opportunity here that I have had. And naturally not everyone seeks the same opportunities here!

I think about psers all the time... I have tried finding kenny and danny on fb to no avail, I have been thinking about vesper's old ring (and thus, her) a lot lately because I realized it had a lot of elements I am wanting for my reset, I think about all of the women on the sticky thread over on family and how whenever I'm there they're talking about health issues that generate way too much anxiety for me to even read that thread at this point but that I think they're very brave and secure to discuss it with each other and I envy that a bit even if I cannot join in, I think about people who have posted problems and I am curious what solutions they ended up going with, I think about mara and her baby and wonder what she thinks of motherhood after all those years of being on the fence and even leaning toward the no side sometimes,I think about Haven and hope that she does decide to have a child some day even though it's absolutely none of my business but I think she would make the best mom, I think about Garry a lot and my husband and I get in discussions about diamond cut and physics. I was in the shower the other day thinking about amethyst and why people thought they could just treat her like crap or take advantage of her, I think about deco and her purple house and wonder what she thinks of it now.. So much more...
