Do you take random pictures of your jewelry?

since then I admire it at least a few times a day everyday. If my rings are looking especially sparkly, I might snap a few pics with my IPhone.

There was one day the sun was hitting it just so that all these reflective sparkles showed up on the wall so I had to take a picture. Is this totally bizarre? Granted I have pictures of my kids, pets, other random things but then there will be a bunch of ring pictures.

Do you take pictures of your jewels or catch yourself glancing or admiring during the day? Share some pics if you have them.

I have lots of pictures of jewelry and nail polish on my phone. My family always makes fun of me when they take the phone to look at kids' pictures. Here's today's pic.

Also I LOVE your picture of all the sparkles! I think the only time I see that many, I'm in the car, which is not the most conducive environment for taking pictures. I love them all over your wall like stars.

Here is today's ring, my 14k shrimp style ring. This was a Mason's ring that I bought at a flea market, and had the gold re-cast when a local jeweler had a re-melt special, back in '85 or so. I wear it often. As a bonus, the flip side is this week's henna design.

I still find myself admiring my e-ring quite a bit, but no, I don't take random pictures of my jewelry. I love seeing everyone else's pictures though!

Count me in on this too! My phone is full of ring random pictures & it's a bit embarrassing!

I also have a habit of taking pics of my friends rings nestled next to mine for comparison (read *so I can show my husband how big their diamond rings actually are next to my 1.02CT & hint at a big rock*)

Yes, I take pictures of my jewelry all the time; I wouldn't if they weren't so photogenic.

Most of the pics I take require hours of set up and lots of reshooting.

I definitely have been known to discreetly snap a pic or two. Especially when I'm in a store or restaurant with lighting that makes my jewelry sparkle!

HA! You don't even wanna know. I just had to back up 12,000+ photos from my phone. More than half of those are jewelry photos, I'm sure.
