Yes indeed, although not excessively and I try not to around the kids.

My favorite swear word is f*ckery. For example, calling the car dealership to confirm and driving an hour to find out they sold the car yesterday, that is some f*ckery right there!

Some f*ckery was afoot!
I'm gonna use that (along with every other way I use the f-bomb).

Yes
Like a trooper
Actually i learnt to swear in the army

I find it hard here because on my Bruce Springsteen forum (himself a man who drops the F-bomb not inappropriately but on a very regular basis) swearing is ok

But here its kind of like a church picnic

although there is one word i will not use
- one needs to keep something up one's sleeve tucked away in one's earthquake survival pack

Yes, but not around kids. However, the vocabulary around kids is a lot more entertaining because I have to came up with far more creative words- my daughter recently came up with slobber-donk (she’s only 6). It’s basically an @sshole or b!tch; in context, “That guy was such a slobber-donk, right mom?”

Yes, but usually only when I am alone and in pain...never in public. When I stub my toe I am very inventive...

Yes, I’ve been known to use very colorful metaphors at times.

Yes. Yes I do. Many, many times a day. Usually very quietly under my breath or very loudly in my head. :roll2: Did I mention I'm a teacher.......

Only in Cantonese.

Just curious.
Do all Cantonese swear words have an identical translation to English?
And do all English swear words have an identical translation to Cantonese?

Are they mostly about 'secks' and the, uhm, tail end of the digestive system?

Kenny, There are more swear words in Cantonese than you can imagine compared to English.

Hell yes!

However, I tried to avoid swearing in polite company and in front of children.

I used to work in a male-dominated factory environment, and picked up some of their "lingo".

I seldom work in "front of desk" customer-facing positions, good job too!
