Do you sleep and shower in your Diamond Stud Earrings?

Hey guys! I've tried to sleep in them, but feel weird, not used to sleeping in jewelry, plus didn't want to wear out the studs by leaning on them all night long. I take them out each night, but before I know it , it' s morning and i have to put them back in! Then I think, I'll keep them in... I was also wondering if they would fall out while showering and I wouldn't realize it or something, that I would forget to tighten them b4 shower or whatever....

I sleep in my smaller studs (I think they are 1/4 karat) in my top hole but I change out my bottom ones every day. My smaller studs come out once a week or so to be cleaned. They are screw backs but I don't even know I have them in most of the time. I've worn them for going on 10 years with no issues.
