No, but I skip over posts that I don't think I'll be interested in. Not really the same thing though.

I'm the same as girlface. Sometimes I look into a thread after there's already 2+ pages and read what everyone writes. But I don't necessarily post a reply. But I have not flat out ignored anyone in specific.

Crasu, obviously I'm not Yssie, but I wanted to chime in regarding something you wrote. I think all of us are aware (and fully understand) that English isn't everyone's native language. I think she was talking about posts that are written in text-speak.

Thank you, Zoe! I did not feel offended at all! It was sort of a joke, I should have posted a smile but I always forget... I am afraid I started using text-speak myself although at the very beginning I had to ask my son to "decode" "ROTFL" for me.

I find myself tempted sometimes as I know certain posters have strong opinions on the subject at hand and I already know what those opinions are, but even then I read through because I've been caught completely off guard enough times to know that they just might bring up something new that I hadn't thought of..

I am not always on the Hangout, and do not have the time to read all posts, but I usually read posts of PS-ers who post on my Forum (Colored Stones) and have been very supportive and courteous to other PS-ers there. I have noticed that they behave the same way here. Or people whose professions interest me, like teachers or scientists.

In fact, I think it's wonderful that people are happy and willing to converse with others on here and IRL in languages that aren't what they're perhaps most comfortable with - a different language, a different country, a different culture or background means a different perspective, and that's always interesting to read/see/hear

Oh, I know, I know! It was just meant as a joke. Or I just wanted to say that since you were reading my posts, I passed muster. (By the way - you come across as very nice and supportive in your posts). I should start using these emoticons, I always forget. I think I have inadvertently offended some very nice PS-ers by not posting these smiling faces!

Yes. Its a poster that would constantly create polls about his/her project, only to change his/her mind and then run through the process again. It was exhausting. And not even worth offering ideas to, as those ideas usually got scrapped anyway. I only skipped over those particular threads, I don't skip over that posters posts altogether.

I think I know who she/he was. I skipped these posts for a different reason, it started off on the wrong foot, because several months before the project began, she/he posted another post in which one of PS-ers was treated unfairly, in lieu of the same project.

Elle, of course I can't speak for anyone else, but I never EVER skip your posts! In fact, I make a point of reading them! You're one of those posters who, when I see that you started a thread or that you were the last one to post there, I always make sure to click on that one. I love me some Elle!!!

Yes, there is one person whose posts I skip over. This is a very supportive community but when someone makes her/ his intolerance and ugly attitude known and wears her/ his ignorance as badge of honor- that sort of person doesn't have anything worth saying in my book.

ditto! After the adoption thread I really dislike seeing a poster. I value differences of opinion but I cannot accept bigotry as just a different point of view .
