I would love to see your colorless diamonds with fluorescence. If you could tell me if there is strong, medium, or faint.

Well, this is a rather fun photo of the fluorescence in my orchid ring. Although the center diamond is a fancy pink diamond with strong blue fluor, the side diamonds that are glowing are colorless diamonds- also with strong blue fluor. The design was done so that it would also be interesting under black light.

In other words...you don't see fluorescence unless you shine UV light on the ring. I also had a strong blue FL diamond,and it looked like every other diamond without the UV light.

In other words...you don't see fluorescence unless you shine UV light on the ring. I also had a strong blue FL diamond,and it looked like every other diamond without the UV light.

My diamond, E, VS1, 1.59 (GIA), fluoresces a beautiful, almost unearthly green. (Medium).

Not one gemologist I've spoken with can tell me why. They say it's extremely rare! Maybe there is Adamite in it!

I tried taking a picture under a black light, but my camera keeps color correcting it out. Either that or the spirit refuses to be photographed!

Duh, sorry I should have just looked up your previous threads I am completely floored by the ring! Orchids are my favorite flower and were used at my wedding, so I dream of having a ring like yours someday!!! Thanks for so many pics for me to drool over
