I just bought a jewelry cleaner that I found listed on a thread here at PS:
http://www.frontgate.com/jump.jsp?itemType=PRODUCT&itemID=12837&fromNewSearch=true&mercadoResultId=0&nrpAltSearch=false&altText=null

My question is... can I leave the cleaning solution in the machine between cleanings or do I need to drain it every time after each cleaning? thanks so much!

you probably just have to make a fresh batch every once in a while. are there instructions?

Yes, I read the instructions. It tells how to drain it and clean it out. But it doesnt say anything like "you must drain after every use" or "do not leave cleaner in machine after use". It just tells how to clean the jewelry and how to empty the machine. I was hoping to make less waste by only changing the cleaning fluid once a week instead of every time I use it.

Supposedly this cleaner is a lot like the Salton Spa, if anyone is familiar with that?

I believe JulieN is correct, only change when needed. Once a week might even be too frequent (depending on how much you''re cleaning and how often). An easy and simple rule of thumb is to just change the solution when it starts looking murky.

It shouldn''t harm the machine to leave the solution in there. Maybe they left the frequency open ended because it really depends on each individual

I don''t drain mine after each use, I would go through it way too fast! I drain if after a few uses.

I drain mine when it starts to look icky. It''s pretty easy to tell.
