Thanks to this forum and new knowledge, I am beginning to question my choice of diamond that has a SI2 clarity & I color. It looked fine to me at the time, but now I wonder if I have purchased a crappy diamond and should upgrade. Oh, what to do...

Also, I don't know what type of wedding band to get with my split shank pave ring. I'm thinking something with different shaped stones than the ring for contrast. Any thoughts?

Hi Ella

I don't think you have a rubbish diamond at all! This is a natural progression once you start to gain knowledge, then one tends to question the choices made! Your diamond looks fine in photos, its not a top cut quality but probably more along the lines of a ' nice make' for cut which is fine. If you want a stone with top cut quality then you could upgrade certainly but if your diamond makes you happy then thats really all that matters!

Does it have a GIA report?
