Do diamond bullets not come in brilliant cut?

I had a 5 stone ring made by David Klass with radiant, trapezoids and bullets. The bullets are step cut and he says that bullets don’t come in brilliant cut? I thought they did or am I mistaken?

I think you're mistaken, bullets are step cut.
A bullet shape diamond is a modified rendition of the straight baguette with an added narrowing v at the bottom portion.

True bullets (straight sides, pointed end) are step cut. You can get tapered bullets, epaulets, Cadillacs and shields in brilliant cuts.
